CHRISTCHURCH – Largest city on New Zealand’s South Island, otherwise known as the Garden City. A compact city centre and ‘cultural precinct’ make Christchurch easy to explore. With its many neo Georgian style buildings Christchurch can feel somewhat English with a kiwi twist.

Christchurch - Short City Break - 3 day's

Fly into Christchurch where you are met and whisked into the city by private chauffeur. Once settled into the hotel of your choosing you are free to head out and explore.

After a sumptuous breakfast we have a full day's sightseeing lined up. On your sightseeing tour today you will be taken to city landmarks such as Mona Vale Gardens, climb high up the Port Hills by Gondola for stunning views, enjoy a relaxing punt on the Avon River and tour the central city on a restored city tram. You can then enjoy the remainder of the afternoon exploring Christchurch's Cultural Precinct, where you will find the Canterbury Museum, Botanical Gardens, Christchurch Art Gallery, Art's Centre, Christ Church Cathedral and Cathedral Square.

On your last day you might have some free time before your shuttle transfer to the airport or maybe join up with one of our other city breaks.

You can extend this short break by as many days' as you wish. More time in Christchurch gives you a chance to visit Kaikoura for a Whale Watch cruise, or Akaroa to see the world's smallest and rarest Dolphin. The world famous TranzAlpine Train departs from Christchurch daily for its journey across the Canterbury Plains, through the Southern Alps to the South Islands rugged West Coast.
